Indoor Coaching Staff

We are happy to start announcing our staff for this upcoming season.


IRENE CAMPO- Staff Coach
Irene is the newest coaching addition to the LFL staff. Irene or "Ice" how people call her, is originally from Santader Spain.
She just transferred to Purdue University from South Alabama University where she was coached by Coach Richard Moodie.
Ice played at South Alabama with current LFL coach Chiara Singarella.
 



In the 2024 regular season at South Alabama University, Ice started in all 18 matches with a total of 1393 minutes played.
The Santander, Spain native led the Sun Belt in goals with 12 and was second in points with 29.




Ice also managed to rack up five assists and two game-winners on the season.
She provided a spark for the Jags this season as she helped propel them to a 10-5-3 record overall.




Ice was spectacular for the Jags in her sophomore campaign, earning Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year honors for her play as well as first-team All Sun Belt.
The Santander, Spain native led the conference in goals with 12 and was second in points in 29.
The midfielder also recorded six assists and registered 1466 minutes of action.
Ice shined for the Jags this season and was a major part of their 10-6-3 season in which they clinched the West Division of the Sun Belt.




She was named Fourth team All American by The United Soccer Coaches.
Ice was awarded at the last coaches convention a couple of weeks ago in Chicago, Illinois.




Ice was International U17 for Spain. Called up by the U-17 Spanish national team for the Elite Phase of the European Championship held in Hungary (April 2022).
Called up in all categories of the Cantabrian National Football Team. Played for Racing Feminas De Santander for 10 years as a midfielder.
Won playoffs and Regional Championships.



She is currently sophomore, majoring in Kinesiology. She is fluent in Spanish, English and knows some French.

Lexi Fraley-Staff Coach

Lexi was born and raised in Lafayette. One of the top players from the area, she was Journal and Courier High School Girls player of the year in 2019 for Harrison HS.

She joined LFL at the end of the last summer season and she will be working most of the week coaching kids and refereeing games. 


AT PURDUE

Lexi played all 17 games at her season with the Boilermakers, starting  11 games for Purdue with 1 goal and 1 assist. 

She was second on the team with most shots (20).

PERSONAL
Graduated with certificate in communication and leadership at Purdue.

Graduated from Ball State in the spring of 2024 with a bachelors degree in biology and pre-dental preparation.
Parents are Rick and Christy Fraley.

She is pursuing to play professionally.

Megan Santa Cruz-Staff Coach

Megan is the newest addition to our staff. She is from Burbank California. A two-time first team All-Sunshine league midfielder out of Notre Dame High School. Megan led the Knights in scoring every season since freshman year. She played Club for the LA Surf, was the leading goal scorer for 3 seasons.

AT PURDUE

Megan transferred to Purdue this year. She played and started all 19 games this season for Purdue with 4 goals and 2 assists. 

She lead the team with most shots on goal (26).

PRIOR TO PURDUE / WASHINGTON STATE 2023-24

2024 / AS A SOPHOMORE
  • Scored three goals as a junior, with five assists for 11 points
  • Started and played in all 19 games, with 1326 minutes
  • Earned career-highs in goals, assists, points, shots, SOG, and minutes played


2023 / AS A FRESHMAN 
  • Played in all 19 matches, starting 18 of them, and finished the season with 1,188 minutes played
  • Scored first-career goal against San Diego State, Aug. 31, netting the game-winner in the fifth minute
  • First-career assist came in win at Arizona, Oct. 5, finding Margie Detrizio for the equalizer in the 55th minute
  • Named to the TopDrawerSoccer Midseason Top 100 Freshmen list at No. 23
  • Registered second assist in tie at Oregon State, playing fellow freshman Reagan Kotschau late in the first half
  • Garnered Pac-12 All-Freshman Team Honors
  • Finished No. 56 in the TopDrawerSoccer Postseason Top 10 Freshmen List.

Angelina Thoreson- Staff Coach

We’re excited to welcome Angelina Thoreson to the Legacy Futbol League coaching staff for the upcoming winter season!

Originally from Uppsala, Sweden, Angelina brings a strong international and collegiate background to LFL. Before coming to the U.S., she played professionally for her hometown club IK Uppsala Fotboll, competing in both the first and second divisions in Sweden from 2019–2021.



She also represented her country as a member of the Swedish U19 National Team, gaining valuable experience at the international level.

Angelina began her collegiate career at LSU, where she made an immediate impact as a freshman in 2022:

  • Appeared in all 21 matches, earning 17 starts

  • Logged 1,240 minutes, including a full 90 minutes in the NCAA Tournament second round

  • Led the team with 9 assists, ranking 4th in the SEC

  • Scored her first collegiate goal against Princeton

  • Named to Top Drawer Soccer’s Top Freshman list

  • Member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll

As a junior in 2024, Angelina continued to contribute at LSU, making 20 appearances, starting 8 matches, and recording 758 minutes.

In 2025, Angelina transferred to Purdue University for her senior season, where she:

  • Started every match

  • Scored 3 goals

  • Graduated in December 2025 with a degree in Sociology

Now in 2026, Angelina is completing her fifth year at Purdue University, while pursuing a Master’s degree in Global Supply Chain Management.

Angelina brings a high level of professionalism, technical quality, and game understanding shaped by both European and NCAA Division I soccer. She is passionate about sharing her experience with young players and helping them grow in confidence, skill, and love for the game. She is fluent in English and Swedish.

Bianca Hanish- Staff Coach

We’re excited to welcome Bianca Hanisch to the Legacy Futbol League coaching staff for the winter season!

Bianca is from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She brings a strong elite playing background and international experience to LFL. She is currently a midfielder for the Purdue University women’s soccer team, competing at the NCAA Division I level. Her experience at this level provides valuable insight into the technical, tactical, and mental demands of the game. Bianca played 19 games with 14 starts on her Freshman year this past fall season.

At the international level, Bianca has been a member of the Canadian Youth National Teams from U15 through U17, representing Canada in multiple CONCACAF tournaments at both the U15 and U17 levels. She has competed against top players across the region, gaining experience in high-pressure, high-performance environments.



At the club level, Bianca played with one of the top academies in Canada, CF Montréal U18, where she continued to develop her technical ability, game intelligence, and competitive mindset.

Bianca is passionate about helping young players grow their skills, confidence, and understanding of the game in a positive and supportive environment. She is fluent on English and French.
We are thrilled to have her join our winter coaching staff and are excited for the impact she will have on our LFL players this season.
