Jennifer Reyes- Head Coach Legacy Blaze FC 2010G & 2014B
Jennifer lives in Elkhart, Indiana. She began her soccer journey playing youth club soccer for Indiana Invaders and Fort Wayne Fever, where she won the State Cup Championship in 2013. As a Senior at Concord High School in Elkhart, Indiana, she led her team to win Sectionals in 2013—the last time the girls program achieved this milestone in her area. I first met Jennifer during this time, when I was scouting for the Mexico National teams, and quickly recognized her exceptional talent. She participated in the U20 Mexico Women’s National Team tryouts in Chicago as one of my recruits. After high school, Jennifer played Division I college soccer for Bowling Green State University, winning the MAC Conference in 2018. She was named to the Academic All MAC team and Dean’s List for three consecutive years, highlighting her commitment to excellence both on and off the field. Jennifer continued her career professionally in Sweden with Skovde KK in 2019, then returned to the States and played for Club America in Mexico until an ACL injury ended her professional playing career.

Jennifer went to play professionally in Sweden for Skovde KK in 2019.

Jennifer’s transition to coaching has been equally inspiring. She served as Assistant Coach for Goshen College Women's Soccer (NAIA Division) from 2021 to 2024, where her mentorship helped countless student athletes achieve their goals. She is also the founder of SPDP, a youth futsal training program in the Elkhart area, supporting young athletes in their pursuit of college opportunities. Jennifer has further contributed as Assistant Coach for Elkhart High School girls’ soccer, Head Coach at West Noble High School, and Head Coach of Goshen City FC Women’s Soccer. Most recently, she has coached Legacy Blaze FC U14 and U12 boys teams this fall.

Community Involvement and Impact: Jennifer’s commitment to empowering young athletes is truly inspiring. As one of only two Latinas in her area to play college sports, she serves as a role model for diversity and perseverance. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, holds a degree in Human Development & Family Studies from Bowling Green State University, and is a Realtor in the Elkhart area. Her vast experience and leadership will be a tremendous asset to our athletes, and her approach to mentorship fosters growth both on and off the field.

José Ramos – Legacy Blaze FC U14 Boys Head Coach
Coach Ramos is the upcoming Blaze U14 Boy's Head Coach. José Ramos was born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana, on December 24, 1994. His passion for soccer began at an early age, starting as a goalkeeper at just nine years old — a position he continues to play and master to this day. From 2011 to 2014, José was the varsity goalkeeper for Jefferson High School, where his leadership and consistency in goal earned the respect of teammates and coaches alike. In 2016, José enlisted in the United States Army, proudly serving his country and deploying to Afghanistan in 2018. During his military career, his love for soccer remained strong. While stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado, he tried out for and was selected as the goalkeeper for the Army Base Soccer Team, representing them at the Defenders Cup in San Antonio, Texas, in 2019. He later earned another selection in 2021 for the Fort Benning, Georgia Army Team, though his participation was cut short due to a meniscus injury. After seven years of dedicated service, José retired honorably from the Army on July 4, 2023, and returned home to Indiana to continue his soccer journey — this time, as both a player and coach.

In October 2023, José founded Rogues FC, a team created in honor of the Army squad he once led, also called “The Rogues.” Under his leadership, Rogues FC quickly became competitive, earning one championship title and two third-place finishes while proudly competing within the Legacy Futbol Adult Men's League. Throughout his playing career, José has competed with several strong local teams, including: Zorros FC – 3rd Place (August 2025) Tecos FC – 3rd Place (July 2024) United FC – Semifinalist (March 2025) As a coach, José has been instrumental in the growth and success of multiple programs: FC Magic – 2015 Champions United FC – 2024 Champions Tecos FC – Consistent playoff contender (3rd place 2024; semifinals 2025; quarterfinals October 2025) Rogues FC – 2024 Champions, 2x third-place finishes (current club president).
